He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda; his children, Jeremy Richard (Marlo) of Paxton, Jonathan Richard of Worcester and Courtney Kirschner (Gregory) of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Cameron, Ellie and Fiona; his siblings, Dora Beaudin of Worcester and Gerald Richard of Seminole, FL.; and his parents, Arthur Richard and Ozelie Richard (Maillet). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Ron can be made to UMass Memorial in support of the either of these departments.
