She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard H. Cohen. She is survived by: her children, Steven M. Cohen (Bela) of Worcester, Marjorie E. Teig (Lucien) of Sudbury and Amy L. Earley (Joseph) of Auburn; her grandchildren, Sara, Danielle, Jeffrey, Jessica, Leonard and Jason; and her great grandchildren, Jacob and Gavi.

Memorial donations may be made in Ruth's name to Eisenberg Assisted Living in Worcester and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation in Wellesley.
