The family announces the passing of Scott J. Lemieux of Worcester, Massachusetts on October 1, 2026. Scott, born on December 3, 1961 in Auburn, Massachusetts, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. Scott will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Scott by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Scott is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Scott’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Lemieux, Sr. and Joanne F. Lemieux (Stapleton); and his siblings, Edward Lemieux, Jr. (Skip) and Lynne M. Mosely (Lemieux) of Auburn, MA.. He is survived by: his son Joseph W. Dayter of Worcester; his grandson Cole Dayter of Colorado; and his siblings, Lenard M. Lemieux (Lenny) of Lowell and Lori E. Vivlamore (Lemieux) of Northwest Arkansas. He is also survived by his godchildren, and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kelly Cremation and Funeral Care (154 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA 01605). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
