She was predeceased by: her brother Seppo Peltomaa; and her parents, Toivo Peltomaa and Esther Peltomaa (Ihamaa). She is survived by: her husband Edward E. Nummelin; and her children, Karl Nummelin of Worcester, Martha Donahue (Robert) of Worcester and Lisa Morgan (John) of Rutland. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Worcester County Memorial Park (217 Richards Ave, Paxton, MA 01612).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Seija's honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
