She was predeceased by: her husband Virgilio Rivera; and her parents, Juan Vargas and Marcelina Rivera. She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Lucero (Hector) of Worcester. She is also survived by two brothers in Puerto Rico, many nieces and nephews.
