We announce the death of Shirley A. Pero of Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 26, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Pero and Eleni Pero (Dine); and her brothers, Perry and Louis Pero. She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Diane Pero of Oakbrook, IL and Barbara Pero of Auburn, MA; her nieces and nephews, Michelle Pero, Stephanie Pero Fournier, Steven Pero (Heather Binienda), Alexis Pero (Austin Burroughs) and Arthur Pero (Lauren); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, David, Matthew, Charlie, Sophia, Ava, Mila and Audrey. She is also survived by extended family, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church (535 Salisbury St, Worcester, MA 01609). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the St. Mary's Endowment Fund, St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, Worcester, MA 01609.
