Stephen F. Jensen Obituary

Stephen F. Jensen, 54, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023, at UMass Hospital, from complications associated with heart failure.

Stephen is survived by his loving spouse, best friend and confidant, Justin A. Frank; a brother, Pat Caruso of White River Junction, VT; a sister, Jeanne Marie Caruso of Watertown, MA; nieces, nephews, close friends and extended members of the Frank family. Stephen was born in Medford, MA, son of the late, Jeanne (Salmon) Enos, later moving with his family to White River Junction, VT.

Stephen graduated from Hartford High School in White River Junction and then attended Champlain College. After college Stephen moved to Boston for several years where he worked as commercial building manager and formed many long-term friendships. He later moved to Central Massachusetts and resided in Leominster for several years, before moving to Worcester joining Justin in creating the loving home they shared with their dogs, Gunner and Patch.

Stephen worked as a sales trainer in the auto industry and was affiliated with several dealerships in the area. He enjoyed hiking, kayaking, gardening (even though Justin did most of the work), music, traveling to foreign countries and Cape Cod. Most of all, Stephen enjoyed time with good friends.

Stephen had a special spiritual connection with nature and animals. A red tail hawk was a sign of him being one with nature.

A Service celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, May 3, with a gathering of friends starting at 4 p.m. until a Prayer Service begins at 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.

“Dear Jensen Family, I am very sorry for your loss. Dealing with the loss of a loved one is very difficult to deal with. I hope your family is surrounded by love during this time. During this difficult time, a strong hope in God’s promises will help you to endure. Jehovah promises to bring our dead loved one’s back to life. “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice”(John 5: 28,29) I hope this promise brings you comfort.”
