He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia A. Dowd McGurn (Mars); and his sister Kathryn Frykberg. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Lori E. Dowd; his siblings, Walter McGurn (Marie), Kevin McGurn (Joanne), Stephen McGurn (Barbara), Maureen Slevin (Robert), Darlene Delmore (Daniel), Francis McGurn, Joan Genese and Patricia Baril; and his pet Spike. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
