Though Trung may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Khanh Ngoc Khuu and Nhut Thi. He is survived by: his wife Loan Tran; his sons, Khanh Khuu of Virginia and Thien Khuu (Diep Nguyen); his grandchildren, Zuri, Calli and Max of California; his daughter Virginia Nguyen (Rivko Chea) of California; and his siblings, Bach Khuu and Christine Khuu.
Trung lived a very long life, woven with stories of endurance through some of humanity's darkest hours, from surviving World War II to the global pandemic of 2020.
