We announce the death of Yvette M. (Richard) O'Brien of Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 81. Yvette will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband John O'Brien; her parents, Clement Richard and Hilda Richard (Suprenaunt); her brother Robert Richard; and her grandson Matthew Gaffney.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Bonnette of Leicester, Daniel Bonnette (Patricia) of Worcester, John O'Brien of Worcester, Kevin O'Brien of Worcester and Colleen Morgan of Worcester; her grandchildren, Daniel Veroneau, Megan Veroneau, Ryan Bonnette, Ashley Bonnette, Christopher Gaffney, Kayla Colombo-Gaffney, Kelsea O'Brien, Brianna Sifferlen (O'Brien), Kevin O'Brien and Tim Coleman; and her siblings, Larry Richard of Toronto, Therese Cardinal of Worcester, Lucille Richard of Lyon, France and Clement Richard of Grafton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Yvette's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Second Chance Pet Rescue. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
