It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John F. Caruso of Wrentham, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 18, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John F. Caruso to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid John farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Caruso, Claire Caruso and Gerald Caruso. He is survived by: his wife Arleen F. Caruso (Abbott); his daughter Kerri Shore (John Shore) of Wrentham; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew and Caleigh Shore. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home (456 High St, Dedham, MA 02026). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (420 High St, Dedham, MA 02026).
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory can be made to the New England Center and Home for Veterans, 17 Court Street, PO Box 845257, Boston, MA 02284-5257—a cause close to his heart.
