He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. May and Elizabeth J. May (McAtamney); his wife Colleen M. May (Creedon); his son Michael May (late Susan Lebbossiere) of Braintree; and his sisters, Elizabeth May, Catherine Culpin, Marguerite Berg and Evelyn Cunniff.
He is survived by: his children, Susan (Doug Carlson) of Clifton, VA, William "Willy" May, John May (Laura) of Foxboro, Marianne Walter (Jerry McManus) of Norwood and Christopher May of Wales Maine. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and is survived by many nieces and nephews.
