He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Powers and Elliot Powers; his brothers, Richard, Robert and William Powers; and his grandson Liam Cunningham.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Susan Cunningham (Phil), Martha Tardif (Paul), Andrew Powers (Sue), Pamela Tillo (Chris), Katherine Pietropaoli (Paul) and Daniel Powers; his grandchildren, Katie Cunningham, Andrew, Adrienne, Amelia Tardif, Abby, Lucy Powers, Zach, Matthew, Mollie Tillo, Laura, Tim and Justin Pietropaoli; his caregiver Bernie; and his friend Tom Evans.
Memorial donations in Bernie's memory may be made to the Cape Cod Senior Softball League or the VNA of Cape Cod Hospice Team.
