We bid farewell to Ameriless Mayo of Aberdeen, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 11, 2026 at the age of 89. Ameriless touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Ameriless shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ameriless farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Weldon E. Patillo and Frankie Patillo (Maupin); and her brother-in-law Alan Mayo. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Eugene Mayo; her sister-in-law Amy Mayo; her nephew Aaron Mayo (Sarah); her niece Ashley Mayo; and her great-nieces, Hannah and Eliza Mayo.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Abingdon-McComas Family Funeral Homes (1317 Cokesbury Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
