With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Aaron Nelson of Aberdeen, Maryland, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on August 19, 2022 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Nelson and Patricia Rucker (DeBerry); and his sisters, Robin Nelson and Susan Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Diane Nelson (Lootens); his siblings, Dana Partelow (John) and Stuart Nelson; his stepfather Ingo Rucker; his nieces and nephews, Josh (Lindsay), Amanda (Scott), Alex, Molly (Isaac), Gigi, Kyle and Erin; his great-niece Whitney; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Lootens, Janet Hanratty (Tim) and Linda Siegel (Dave).
