He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald E. Pierce and Vivian L. Pierce (O'Rourke); his close friend Cindy Lee Long; and his sister Linda Privett. He is survived by: his children, Leah M. Childers (Justin) of Perry Hall and Chad B. Pierce of Elkton; his grandchildren, Tyler Pierce, Olivia and Elliot Childers; and his siblings, Danny Pierce of Aberdeen and Terry Pierce.
