It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude H. Spang of Aberdeen, Maryland, born in Perryman, Maryland, who passed away on April 11, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Carl" Holloway and Ethel Holloway (Hinchman); her husband Charles "Chick" O. Spang; and her brother Willard C. Holloway (Helen Holloway Thompson). She is survived by: her children, Charles O. Spang, Jr. of Aberdeen and Ann S. Bennett (Tony) of Churchville; her grandchildren, Lee H. "Holly" Bennett and Gregory H. Bennett (Regan); and her great grandchildren, Reid and Hayes Bennett.
