She was predeceased by: her husband E. Pershing Volkart; and her siblings, Elwood V. Stark and Dorothy S. Ficklin. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara V. Brooks and Anne V. Wood; her granddaughter Mary Anne Brooks; and her sister-in-law Shirley Volkart.
