He is survived by: his wife Camellia Roslyn Clark-Hicks; his son Fennell Newsome; his grandchild Shannell Newsome; his son James "Googie" Clark (Jocelyn); his caregiver Camellia; his goddaughter Danielle Pearson (Leon); and his sister Velma Walton (Kezia Coates). He is also survived by cousins; family and friends.
