She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Joseph Brown and Florence Bertha Brown (Mahan); and her sister Karen Lee Brown of Smith's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. She is survived by: her husband Stephen D. Scarborough. She is also survived by married in November 2025, and many cousins.
