He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Hoover and Ophelia Shimmel (Cole). He is survived by: his children, Ralph Hoover of Aberdeen, Clara Kolar of Westminster and Randal Hoover of Dundalk. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 24 great greatgrandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home (333 S Parke St, Aberdeen, MD 21001). An entombment was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Harford Memorial Gardens (3839 Aldino Rd, Aberdeen, MD 21001).
