He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Bryan Deel and Iva Maxine Deel (Murphy); and his son Richard. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa M. Clark; and his brothers, Charles B. Deel (Denise), Ronald L. Deel (Henrietta) and Jeffrey L. Deel (Amy). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Abingdon-McComas Family Funeral Homes (1317 Cokesbury Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the Bel Air Memorial Gardens (809 Rock Spring Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014).
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Richard's love for animals, contributions may be made to the Harford County SPCA.
