He is survived by: his pets, Ginger, Sage, Jorge, Spooky and Paisiley; his fiancée Terri Lopiano of Aberdeen, MD.; his children, MichaelSettlemyre and Tracy Cirino (Anthony); his grandchildren, Madi, Annah, Ravin, Lillian, Crystal and Kenzie; his aunt Pam Sheridan (Phil); his cousin Michael; his siblings, Arthur Shaffer (Theresa) and AnitaPowers (Gary); his uncle Randy Parkinson (Karri); his close friend Tony Gring; his brother Col Martin Shaffer (Robert L. Settlemyre, Jr.); Bethany and Matthew.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents Richard Wayne Parkinson Sr. and Carole E. Parkinson.
