It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tyrone L. Brooks Jr. (Aberdeen, Maryland), who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his father Tyrone Leroy Brooks, Sr.; his uncles, John W. Brooks, Jr. and Alvin Brooks; his brother-in-law Tommy Jones; his stepson Hauson Woodard; his wife Ophelia Simpson of Aberdeen, MD.; his daughters, Myulika and Ambre Brooks; his stepchildren, Teya McFarland, Teon Mcfarland, Terry Mcfarland, Terrell Mcfarland and Michael Bowser; his stepmother Jodene Brooks; his siblings, Anthony Brooks Sr., Shelia Short and Sharon Jones; his mother-in-law Audrey Simpson; his aunts and uncles, Josena "Sis" Sutton, Diann "Frank" Whittington, Delores "Delilah" Gladden, Violetta Edwards, Etta Brooks, Steven Shaw, Howard "Buck" Shaw Jr. and Terry Edwards; his cousins, Veronica "Niecey" Edwards and Paula "Terlene" Edwards; and his siblings-in-law, Eugene Short and Ivy Brooks. He is also survived by in-laws; grandchildren, a great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews, as well as numerous family, friends.
