We announce the death of William J. Murphy Jr. of Aberdeen, Maryland, who passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 83. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Murphy, and Jeanne Murphy, Sr. (Wiley). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Marie Schubert Murphy; his daughter Raegan Marie Dunlap (Matthew) of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Layla Marie and Everett Joseph; his children, Karen Jeanne Schmidt (Brian) of Aberdeen, MD and William J. Murphy III (Karen); his grandchildren, William J. IV and Kaitlyn Murphy of Havre de Grace, MD; and his sisters, Patricia Bray of Mesa, AZ and Pamela Bradford of Reston, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. (409 W Pittsburgh St, Greensburg, PA 15601).
In lieu of flowers the family suggest you plant a tree in Bill's memory.
