With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yvonne Booker Taylor of Aberdeen, Maryland, who passed away on May 3, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Booker and Martha Ampey; and her husband Samuel Robert Taylor, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Lenora D. Taylor, Hope Taylor-Thomas, Sonya Rucker (Barry), Dawn Taylor and Claude Lee Gattis, Sr.; her brother James Booker; her siblings-in-law, Rev. Gloria Taylor, Sylvia Taylor, Jesse Taylor and Ronald Taylor; her goddaughter Nicolle Birckhead-Thompson; and her grandchildren, Shavonne Soto (Rafael), Vanity Parker and Juri Taylo-Foster. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
