It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Ross Youngberg (Abingdon, Maryland), born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on July 20, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ross and Velma Asenath Kelly (Wheeler); her siblings, Velma Joan Kelly and William Kelly, Jr. (Joan Anne); and her son-in-law Sherman Kirk.
She is survived by: her husband Dean; her daughters, Janis Kirk, Linda Solow (Kenneth), Karen Kilby (David) and Donna Amoroso (Dominic); her great grandchildren, Erica Kalman (Scott), Chase, Cole and Carson; her grandchildren, Shawn Kilby (Jenna), Collyn Kilby, Connor Kilby, Daniel Solow (Sarah), Cameron, Carly Solow, Josh Amoroso (Casey), Stella, Jake Amoroso (Katie) and William; and her sister Barbara Horsley (Russell). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
