He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob George Wagner and Blanche Emmalene Wagner (Buzzerd); and his siblings, Jacob "Sonny" Wagner and Emma "Bonnie" Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Lynn Wagner (Nelson); his children, Jessica Stewart (Jonathan), Ashley Comer (Kelly) and Stephanie Kalp (Joshua); his grandchildren, Maya Stewart, Nathan Stewart, Oliver Comer, Chloe Comer and Kora Kalp; and his brother Richard "Dick" Wagner. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
