With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doris Mellor (Abingdon, Maryland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Doris may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Charles William and Annie Dohrman Unverzagt; and her children, Keith William Mellor and Laura Ann Mellor. She is survived by: her daughters, Sallie Jean Gartside (Michael Anthony), Cathy Anne Stilwell (late Don) and Car0l Lee Mellor; her granddaughter Kimberley Anne Wingate (Justin Thomas); and her great grandchildren, Payton Camron-Hailey Wingate and Nathaniel Tyler Wingate.
