He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jane G. Rhyner; his children, Jamie Posluszny (Travis Reither), Kara Rhyner (Ryan Bray), Brenden Rhyner (Sarah) and Adam Rhyner; his grandchildren, Rileigh, Jordan, Hannah, Avery and Wesley; and his sister Susan Squires (Chris). He was also cherished by extended family and many friends.
