She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Crocken and Eva Crocken (Cole); her siblings, Nelson Crocken (Margaret) and Gloria Garrish (Leonard); her husband Lawrence Beaver Sr.; and her sons-in-law, Kenny Facello Sr. and Donald Crain.
She is survived by: her sister Charlene Garns of Hagerstown, MD.; her children, Carolyn Strain (Bill) of Red Lion, PA, Nancy Crain of Abingdon, MD, Diane Facello of Dundalk, MD and Lawrence Beaver Jr. (Connie) of Bel Air, MD; and her grandchildren, Diane Arrowood (Greg), Kenny Facello Jr. (Beth), Michelle Strain, Rachel Cicero (Brent), Kari Cimino (Michael), Maria DiAngelo, Kim Rosenberg, Andrew Strain, Michael DiAngelo (Shena), Joshua Strain (Danielle), Justin Beaver (Dana) and Ryan Beaver (Esmie). She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Abingdon-McComas Family Funeral Homes (1317 Cokesbury Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery (11501 Garrison Forest Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117).
