In loving memory of Joan C. Wilhelm of Abingdon, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who departed this world on April 26, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Bandy and Dorothy Sampson (Guest); her husband Leonard Bernard Wilhelm Sr.; and her sisters, Claudia Doris Carr and Frances Smith.

She is survived by : her children, Barbara Olsen (Rudy), Carolyn Chavers (Glenn), Leonard B. Wilhelm, Jr. and David K. Wilhelm; her grandchildren, Michael Wilhelm, Marissa Wilhelm, Anthony Wilhelm and Danielle Popp; her great grandchild Lily Watkins; and her sisters, Theresa Dorothy Coleman and Leona Eng.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Abingdon-McComas Family Funeral Homes (1317 Cokesbury Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009). A Mass was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (1450 Abingdon Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009).
