With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. McCormick III of Abingdon, Maryland, who passed away on December 11, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Maggie McCormick; and his siblings, Kathleen Carr, Eileen Hinder and Patrick McCormick. He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or contributions, the family asks that you save your money, as John would have wanted.
