He is survived by: his children, Lawrason Sayre, Jr. (Elizabeth), Nancy Ann Sayre (Michael McGuirk) and Sally Carnohan (Don); and his grandchildren, Zachary Sayre (Alexandra), Michael Sayre (Kelly), Annie Clarke (Michael), Tyler Van Deusen (Christina) and Margaret McGuirk. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and countless dear friends.
