She is survived by: her sisters, Clarabelle "Tillie" and Thelma "Sis"; her former husband Eugene Alfonzo Parker; her spouse Eddie Smith; her children, Jacqueline Denise Browning (Gary) and Keith LaVan Parker (Sarah); her grandchildren, Schehera Marshall (Avery), Melodie Heidlebaugh, Nathan Browning (Diana), Erica Safidiya (Oluwaseni), Gena Amos (Michael) and Timothy Browning (Kimberly); her foster son Erskine Johnson; her niece Wendy Hill (Charles); and her nephew Edward (Gwendolyn) of Washington. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
