He was predeceased by : his siblings, Filippina, Paolo, Pietro, Giuseppe and Salvatore.

He is survived by : his wife Anna Maria La Scala (Mirto); his children, Nadia La Scala (Anthony Rosselli) and Alessandra La Scala; his grandchildren, Adriana and Alessio; his siblings, Francesco and Giustina; and his brother-in-law Gian Franco (Maria). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air (610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM.
