Mary Jane Carter Obituary

We announce the death of Mary Jane Carter of Abingdon, Maryland, who passed away on July 3, 2026, at the age of 85. Mary Jane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nell Marie (Dolan) and Walter Patrick Nowosielski; and her husband Leonard Morris Carter, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Walter "Rob" Carter (Dawn), Constance Carter Crumrine (late Greg), Leonard "Michael" Carter and Cynthia Layman Stavropoulos; her grandchildren, Jeremy Carter, Christopher Carter, Deneé Crumrine, Gary Crumrine and Victoria Smith; her great grandchildren, Gavin Carter, Liam Carter, Cassidy Carter, Dmitri Carapella, Donovan Carapella and Delaney Crumrine; and her brothers, Walter "Punk" Nowosielski and James "Butch" Nowosielski.
