We are sad to announce that, on October 22, 2025, at the age of 74, Michael Wayne Hood of Abingdon, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Michael leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Calvin Hood, Sr. and Pauline Michael Hood. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Hood; his daughter Colleen Hood (Alysson Cwyk); his brother Calvin Hood (Joan Hood); and his siblings-in-law, Paul and Melanie DeFatta. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other cherished family and friends.
