We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2023, at the age of 97, Ada Maffett of Accident, Maryland, born in Cumberland, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Louise Ford (Felton) and Chester G. Ford; her brother Sgt. Robert Felton Ford; and her husband Hugh F. "Jay" Maffett. She is survived by : her children, Kristine L. Maffett Fay (Michael), Wayne J. Maffett, Ellen L. Maffett Allen, Janet L. Maffett Gregory (Jeff) and Carol L Maffett (Richard Dale); her grandchildren, Amanda Klotz and Hon; and her great grandchildren, Mariah, Haley, Timmy Klotz, Easton, Summer, Copeland Allen, Braylon, Waylon Marple, Boone Gregory and Lucas Lambert.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to St Mark's Lutheran Church, the Southern Garrett Rescue Squad, Garrett County Hospice or to a charity of your choice.
