We announce the death of Alice Iola Alston-Dixon of Accokeek, Maryland, who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 83. Alice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her daughter Patty Lorraine Alston; and her grandson Alessio Anthony Alston. She is survived by: her husband Willie Lee Dixon; her son Anthony Everett Alston (Gloria); her stepdaughters, Barbara Bouldin (Lyndell) and Sherry Billingsley; her grandchildren, Russell Boone (Tangie), Aladino Alston, Ashley Alston, Ayrton Alston, Briana Bouldin, Bryce Powell and DeAndrae; and her great grandchildren, Payton Boone, Zachary Boone, Alyssia Alston and Ashton Alston. She is also survived by other loving relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Strickland Funeral Services (6500 Allentown Rd, Temple Hills, MD 20748). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
