She is survived by: her cousins, Clemitee Darton Simmons and Margie Whitten Quinn; her husband William Broadway; her daughter Carolyn Jones Hargrove; her grandchildren, Shantell Gray and AnDrea Hargrove; her great grandchildren, Gilbert Thomas, Jr. and Renzell Gray; and her siblings, Maxine Williams, Earthalene Adams, Curtistene Jackson, Clementine McDuffie, Olinda Allen, Luther Allen and Larry Allen.
