She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgie Scott and William Johnson, Sr.; her stepfather Charles Scott, Jr. (Virgie Scott); her son Franklin Johnson; and her siblings, Haywood Barnes, Mildred Barnes, William Johnson, Jr. and Douglas Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Johnson (Mary) of Frederick, MD, Cheryl Johnson-Moore (Joey) of Richmond, VA and Kimberly Jackson of Bowie, MD.; and her niece Carol Proctor of Florida. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
