He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard W. Parkinson, Sr. and Marjorie Ann Whittington Parkinson; and his son Bernard Charles Parkinson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Parkinson; his stepdaughter Angela Houdeshell (Ben) of Odenton; his stepgrandson Owen; and his sister Deborah Greenwald (Gary) of Centreville. He is also survived by two daughters; four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard W. Parkinson, Sr. and Marjorie Ann Whittington Parkinson; and a son, Bernard Charles Parkinson.
