She was predeceased by: her parents, James R. Patterson, Jr. and Virginia Lee Scheuff Patterson. She is survived by: her children, Laura Grinavic (Jacob Wilkes) of Mt. Airy, MD and Tony Grinavic (Marissa Grimes) of Pasadena; her grandchildren, Lucas Grinavic and Josie Grinavic; and her friend Gary Neal of Annapolis.
