She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Coleman and Marion Neal Coleman; her brothers, Robert Coleman and William Coleman; and her great-niece Lakesha Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Johnson, Carmichael Johnson (Gina), Karen Johnson Sellman, Clarence Forrester, Jr. (J. C.), Dorothea Forrester Parker (late Leroy) and Chandra Deneen Forrester Taylor (George); her grandchildren, Yulonda, Carl, Yashica, Lakisha, Sharron, Donisha, Deedra, LaDonna, Tyron Ja, Ricco, Durrell, Tishawn and Evon; her siblings, Marion W. Coleman (Baby Sis), Laverne Wallace Johnson (Norman), Kermit, John and George Coleman; her nephews, Reginald Hicks (Illona), Ronnie Hicks and Trumaine Johnson; her sister-in-law Shirley Coleman; her daughter-in-law Barbara Johnson; and her nieces, Shereef and Shamia Johnson. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
