She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Hardy; her son-in-law Mark Smith; her stepson Michael Hardy; her parents, Clyde Tabor and Thelma Tabor; and her brothers, Curtis Tabor and Robert Tabor.
She is survived by: her pet Prince; her daughters, Deborah Smith of Annapolis, MD and Lesley Otterbein (James) of Baltimore, MD; her stepson Patrick Hardy (Lisa) of Catonsville, MD; her stepdaughter-in-law Diana Hardy of Rockville, MD; her sister Frances Alderman (Jesse) of Huntingtown, MD; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Tabor and Beverly Wilder Wolfe of Bruceton Mills, WV; her grandchildren, Jacob, Taylor Smith, Kathryn, Alyson Otterbein, Connor, Taylor Hardy, Madeline Hardy-Vieira and Claudia Dzwonchyk; and her great grandchild Michael Kasprzak.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rausch Funeral Home-Port Republic (4405 Broomes Island Rd, Port Republic, MD 20676). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at the Asbury Cemetery (3660 Hallowing Point Rd, Prince Frederick, MD 20678).
