He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irene Simms and Joseph Simms; his wife Martina; his children, Keshia, Myron, Michael (Irisha), Crystal, Eric (Bwalya), Erica (Kamal) and Martina; his grandchildren, Steffon, Taylor, Davon, Jada, Samantha, Kiara, Michael Jr., Carson, Benjamin, Eric Jr., Makhi, Malachi, Mason, Khloe and Malius; his siblings, Barbara (Gregory), Rodney (Michelle), Roxanne, Darlene (Charles), Lamont (Kara), Andrew, Rochelle and Kim; and his godchildren, Michael and Shiesha. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church (2 Hicks Ave, Annapolis, MD 21401). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (1911 Forest Dr, Annapolis, MD 21401).
