She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Doran and Doris Doran. She is survived by: her husband John Dodds; her children, Lynne Ciepiela (Robert) and Kevin Dodds (Lydia Kachadoorian); her grandchildren, Caileigh Roberts (Benjamin), Emily Ciepiela and Natalie Ciepiela; and her great grandchild Charlotte. She is also survived by her parents, aunt, uncle, and cousin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, a longstanding charity that Carole supported.
