She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lane and Catherine Lane; her siblings, Rosemary, John Henry, Raymond, Dora, Helen, Deloris and Jesse; and her son James Lane (Doris).
She is survived by: her husband Ferdinand Hopkins; her children, Regina Reed (Rodger), Patricia Hopkins (late George), David Lane (Marcia), Gail Brown (David), Martha Hopkins and Willie Hopkins (Lisa); her stepson Derrick Hopkins (Grace); her grandchildren, Brian (Caprice), Marecus (Chiquita), Katrina, Rashi, Jahmal (Shavonne), Kareem (Kia), Serena (Marc), Colin (Kara), Zachary (Olivia), William Jr., Tevon (Alicia), Lashaundra Nicole, Dominque, Luke, Mikoh, Derecka, Donald, Andre Miles and Andre Corley; and her friend Lizamae Robinson. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Moriah African Methodist Episcopal Church (2204 Bay Ridge Ave, Annapolis, MD 21403). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
