She is survived by: her mother Marion Wenn (McPherson); her husband André; her children, Tiffany Renee Spencer, Tonya Rochelle Spencer, Aaron Jamal Spencer (Khadijatou ElHamed), Crystal Dent and Kimberly Dent; her grandchildren, Amirah Amani Akilah McCoy, Alaiya Aanye Coates, Ahmani Jamel Peruda Spencer, Alexander Jamal Peruda Spencer, Aayah Jolie Spencer, Kye Dent and Shyann Brooks (Samuel); her great grandchild Rhaeya Aaliyah Mai'lei Spencer; her siblings, Gwendolyn Maggitt (Willie), Marion C. Wenn, Harold Wenn, David Wenn (Editha) and Virgil Wells; her aunts, Muriel "Jean" McPherson and Connie Maynard; her niece Crystal Johnson Brown (Melvin); and her friends, Betty Chambers, Jacqueline Bolden, Angie Faulkner and Beverly Elmer.
After a Dementia/Alzheimer's diagnosis in 2016, Charlotte continued to live a fun and pleasing life.
